Daikoku Design Institute

We created the posters of AAPI (Asian American & Pacific Islanders) Heritage Month. This is a period of time to celebrate and think deeper about the efforts and contributions of AAPI communities in the history of the United States. The theme is “Together we celebrate”. The motif of the shape of people supporting each other is used to convey the presence of the word AAPI itself, and combine it with powerful statements. We created the AAPI graphic in collaboration with Intertrend Communications, Make Noise Today, Alchemymedia and Julia. These posters were displayed in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Dallas, and other locations throughout the United States. Today, our world faces serious threats. I hope that I can use the power of design to contribute towards a world where diverse groups of people can come together and support each other, even just a little bit more. The posters are free, and anyone can download them from the website.

AAPI(Asian American & Pacific Islanders）文化遺産継承月間のためのポスターを制作しました。この期間は、アメリカの歴史の中での、アジア・太平洋諸島系（AAPI）米国人たちの活躍や貢献を称え考える機会です。ポスターのテーマは“Together we celebrate”。支え合う人の形をモチーフにして、AAPIという言葉自体の存在を伝え、力強い言葉と組み合わせました。Intertrend Communications、Make Noise Today、Alchemy Mediaとコラボレーションして制作したグラフィックは、ロサンゼルス、ニューヨーク、サンフランシスコ、ダラスなど、全米各地で掲出されました。世界は今、さまざまな脅威と隣り合わせですが、多種多様な人々が、集い支え合う、そのような世界に少しでもデザインの力で貢献できればと願っています。ポスターはフリーでどなたでもダウンロードできる仕組みとなっています。
