For the reconstruction ceremonies related to the pagoda erected by Japans most famous Shogun, I headed up art direction and graphic design of two booklets. The booklets utilized camellia motifs as well as presented the pagoda in blueprint form as the construction itself reveals a deeper meaning to the viewer when they actually see the pagoda in real life. 椿山荘を象徴する歴史的建造物である三重塔。その平成大改修に伴う起工式法要のアートディレクション。シンボルマークは、三重塔の象徴的な3つの屋根をモチーフに、ロゴタイプは美しく端正に、歴史と現代の最適な接点を探り表現しました。また、起工式記念冊子については、三重塔の造形美や独自の建築様式の魅力や価値を先入観なく感じてもらうため、写真を使わず線画と文字のみの構成としています。
